Childcare DOLLAR$

We know you need child care in order to work, and child care is expensive—in some cases almost $240 a week for one child. Childcare DOLLAR$ can help you reduce your expenses.

If you are working, live in Monroe County, and meet income guidelines, you may be eligible for financial help.

OR faxed to 753-6308. Please include a cover sheet that is clearly marked Childcare DOLLAR$ application, with your name and number of pages you are faxing.

Child Support Enforcement Unit 2521 Form – if you don’t have court ordered child support, but would like to pursue it, fill out this form and submit with your application.

Is the child care provider you’ve chosen your friend or relative? All informal/legally exempt child care providers must be enrolled with the Child Care Council located at 595 Blossom Road, Suite 120, Rochester, NY, 14610, in order for payment from the Childcare DOLLAR$ project or Monroe County’s Income Eligible Child Care Program to be authorized. If your provider is not enrolled for your family, you may download the enrollment application and ask your provider to submit it directly to the Child Care Council. For additional questions about enrollment, please call the Child Care Council at 654-4720.
