WHAT I DO AT CHILDREN'S INSTITUTE
- Manage the implementation of the Children’s Institute board's strategic plan
- Lead communication and development efforts
- Support organizational process improvement, leveraging best practices and technology
- Serve as administrator to the Executive Director and the Board
PASSIONATE ABOUT
- Pursuit of knowledge and experiences; lifelong learner; in a book club for 20 years
- Yoga practitioner for over 25 years; also jogging, hiking, gardening, and travel
- My family – husband John and daughters Grace, Leah, and Katie; my girls are my gift to the world
- Community volunteering – most recently mine has been for the Monroe County NY Systems Integration project and being a mentor for the Venture Jobs Foundation Jobs Kitchen Accelerator
FUN FACTS
- I have been recognized for STEM efforts as the Rochester Engineering Society’s 2016 Engineer of the Year and 2014 Engineer of Distinction, a finalist for Digital Rochester’s 2014 Technology Woman of the Year, and the 2012 Girl Scouts of Western New York Women of Distinction Award in STEM
- I can do a headstand (including on a paddleboard)
