WHAT I DO AT CHILDREN'S INSTITUTE
- Plan, develop, and grow a strategic vision for the Whole Child Connection
- Manage an extraordinarily talented and passionate group of trainers, coaches, tool developers, and consultants
- Build bridges across sectors and systems to develop common language around equity, social-emotional learning and a whole child approach to working with children and youth
- Partner with adults who serve children and youth so that they feel prepared and successful in the work they do
- Uplifting the importance of youth and family voice
PASSIONATE ABOUT
- Dialogue and communication – finding better ways to talk to each other, whether it’s about world peace or whose turn it is to empty the dishwasher
- Family – my own and the ones that surround every child
- Positive youth development – the idea that young people have assets that need to be nurtured rather than problems that need to be fixed
FUN FACTS
- Mom to Eoin, Julia, and Ella – three amazing kids who inspire my work every day
- I hope to travel to all seven continents (North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia down. South America and Antarctica to go!)
- My favorite place on earth – Round Pond, Maine
