Helping Young People Cope With Stress and Anxiety During Uncertain Times

Thursday, April 30, 3-4 pm

CHILDREN’S INSTITUTE SPOTLIGHT SERIES PRESENTS

A Live Webinar

Join us for an important discussion on how to support young people who may have high levels of anxiety during these unsettling times.

  • Learn how to identify signs of anxiety and heightened stress in young people.
  • Learn how to start age-appropriate conversations with children and actively listen as they express their thoughts and feelings.
  • Learn how to work together to develop coping skills to help them navigate the stress of having their world change.

Not limited to the current COVID-19 situation, attendees will hear a short address from Earl Greene, MA, a behavioral health consultant with Children's Institute. A short panel will follow featuring Ann Marie White, Ed.D., Lynn Lubecki, Ed.D, Linda Murray, and Charles Infurna, Ed.D. This panel of experts, parents and professionals experienced in working with children ages 0-18, will share tips, present evidence-based strategies, and answer audience questions.

Cost is free - Attendees will receive an email with a link to a Zoom webinar.

This seminar is eligible for one hour of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credit for educators. Professional development certificate also available.
