My name is Elizabeth Kausch and I have chosen to do my undergraduate internship at the Children’s Institute this fall. I am in my senior year at SUNY Brockport; majoring in Psychology. I will be working with Edy Zordan, the school psychologist, focusing on different methods of behavioral support for children. I will be developing a culminating project related to the content and resources presented in several meetings and trainings constructed by the staff at Children’s Institute. I look forward to gaining many positive experiences from this internship by learning more about various topics and strategies used in consultation. In addition to working with Children’s Institute, I have a separate full-time job supporting people who have developmental disabilities. This experience is only the beginning of my journey in pursuing a career in mental health counseling.
