Newly Published Article: Students in Primary Project had higher attendance rates

Chronic absenteeism is a critical problem in our schools that can lead to adverse outcomes throughout childhood.  The Research and Primary Project teams at Children’s Institute have been doing some work in this area and recently had an article published in the Journal of Applied School Psychology titled “The Effect of the Primary Project Program on School Attendance in Early Childhood”. Findings show that students enrolled in Primary Project had higher rates of attendance compared to their peers.
