A Mixed Methods Study Investigating the Teacher-Child Rating Scale in the Context of Primary Project

16 March 2023 |

This study has three overarching aims.

  1. The first aim is to gather qualitative data on the validity of the Teacher-Child Rating Scale, short form (T-CRS-sf), the measure currently used to screen students and measure their progress in Primary Project.

  2. The second aim is to gather qualitative information on the implementation of Primary Project, including current processes for screening children with the T-CRS.

  3. The third aim is to conduct a survey to gather data about children’s social-emotional adjustment and associated outcomes in order to validate the T-CRS-sf.

The first two aims will be examined via focus groups and interviews with teachers whose students take part in Primary Project, and who regularly use the T-CRS assessment.
