A Mixed Methods Study Investigating the Teacher-Child Rating Scale in the Context of Primary Project

This study has three overarching aims.
- The first aim is to gather qualitative data on the validity of the Teacher-Child Rating Scale, short form (T-CRS-sf), the measure currently used to screen students and measure their progress in Primary Project.
- The second aim is to gather qualitative information on the implementation of Primary Project, including current processes for screening children with the T-CRS.
- The third aim is to conduct a survey to gather data about children’s social-emotional adjustment and associated outcomes in order to validate the T-CRS-sf.
The first two aims will be examined via focus groups and interviews with teachers whose students take part in Primary Project, and who regularly use the T-CRS assessment.
